Hey everyone! I was trying to fresh install Windows 11 after upgrading my graphics card. I created a Windows restore USB and backed up my files, thinking I was all set. I booted from the USB and chose the option to fully clean the drive, but it failed at about 25% with a message saying, "There was a problem recovering your PC." Now, I can't get it to work, and I've tried troubleshooting with Startup Repair and System Restore, but none of that worked. I don't have a System Image Recovery either. Until now, my PC was running fine, and I just wanted to clean it up. What can I do?

It sounds like the USB you made might be just a recovery drive and not the actual Windows installation media. You should download the official installation software from Microsoft and create a new USB using a tool like Rufus to ensure it has the correct files for installation. That could solve your problem!
Yeah, I thought a recovery drive was the same! What gives?
Honestly, sounds like you're getting frustrated with the process, but it's not just Windows' fault! Knowing your way around tech can save you a lot of headaches.
I'm definitely blaming myself here, but Windows could make things clearer sometimes!
You don't need to buy a new copy of Windows if you already had it. After the fresh install, just use the recovery option to access your saved files, but if you're going for a clean slate, just proceed with installing and start fresh!
I really just want it clean. Do I have to figure out how to boot from a USB? My PC is stuck at the moment!
If your current OS won’t boot at all, creating a new installation USB on another device may be your best shot!

Wait, so what I made isn't what I needed? Why did it even let me start the install process?
