Help! Just Upgraded My CPU but Now I’m Stuck in a Boot Loop

I just upgraded my CPU from an old Ryzen 5 1600 AF to a Ryzen 7 5700XT, and after updating the BIOS on my B450M Pro4, I started having issues. After swapping CPUs and installing a new AIO cooler, my PC got stuck in a boot loop, and I couldn't even access the BIOS. There was no video signal either. I went back to my old cooler, but the boot looping continued. I've reseated the CPU several times, and now I'm noticing that the water pump header isn't delivering power to the pump or a fan. I've also removed the GPU and a stick of RAM to troubleshoot, but it's still stuck in the loop. I'm not sure what else to check next.

Sounds like you might be having a grounding issue! If you removed your motherboard, did you remember to use standoffs? Sometimes if the board isn't properly isolated from the case, it can cause a short. Double-check that everything is seated correctly and that you aren't missing any standoffs.

I didn't take the motherboard out, but I did have to add some new standoffs from the back. I noticed there were no bushings on the bottom, only on the top.
