Hey everyone! I recently ran into some trouble with my computer where I couldn't get past the BIOS screen due to an outdated power supply unit and the SSD containing my Windows installation. I took my computer to a repair shop, and they transferred my Windows setup onto a different SSD that I was already using, which didn't have Windows on it before.
Now, here's the issue: I can't seem to find a .txt file that was on my old desktop before the transfer. I've searched through all the files from the old SSD that were brought over, but no luck. Does anyone have any tips on how I might recover that .txt file? It has some important info I really need. Thanks a ton for any help!

If you do have the old SSD, definitely check there first. If it’s not working, you could also try looking in the recycle bin on your new desktop. If you had it deleted accidentally, it might still be recoverable from there.
First off, do you still have access to your old SSD? It might be easier to plug it back in and see if the file is still there! Sometimes, even if you transfer files, certain ones might get skipped or missed during the process.
