I'm looking to build a gaming PC with a budget of around $1200. I'm not too concerned about how it looks and would definitely prioritize performance over aesthetics. Can anyone suggest a list of parts I should consider for this build? Thanks!

Check out this parts list to get you started: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DQgtg3](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DQgtg3). It should fit your budget well and provide solid performance for gaming.
Also, do you live near a Micro Center? They often have good deals. And do you need to factor in a monitor within that budget?
Before you dive into specifics, what resolution are you aiming to play at? Are you looking to max out every game? And what FPS are you targeting? Personally, I’d recommend choosing a graphics card first to see how much budget you have left for the other components.

I'm mostly gaming at 1080p but want to ensure it's future-proof. Aiming for at least 120 FPS.
