Help Me Build a PC Comparable to the Lenovo Legion Tower 5i

I'm embarking on my first PC build and I initially considered buying a Lenovo Legion Tower 5i. However, I've decided that building my own would be a better choice for me. I'm trying to select parts that are comparable to or even better than the Legion Tower 5i, which has an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 32GB of RAM, an NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti graphics card, and a 1TB SSD. I aimed to keep my budget around $1,600, but I'm surprised to find that the parts I selected are just as expensive, if not more so, than the prebuilt version. Are there any recommendations for achieving a similar performance at a lower cost? Here's my current parts list: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6KLryW).

I can help you find alternatives! Do you have a preference for RGB lighting? I've always built my own PCs, but I recently got a prebuilt Legion Tower 5 with a 7800X3D and 5070 due to rising RAM prices. My first build had a 710, then I upgraded through various GPUs. If Intel is new to you, I recommend giving it a shot! By the way, I snagged my Legion for $1300, but prices have jumped since then.

Thanks! I'm not worried about RGB; I just want something solid at a good price.

Check out this [build](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vYZxZc) I put together for you. I tried to align it with your needs while allowing for some flexibility in case choices. Also, consider that the power supply you picked is a bit cheap; go for a more reliable one. Avoid skimping on the PSU—it's crucial. As for Windows, you might be able to save some cash there too if you look into it a bit more. And don't let the vRAM debate fool you; the 5070 is superior in performance even if it has less vRAM.
