Hey everyone! I'm looking to build my very first PC with a budget of $1200. I plan to use it mostly for heavy programming, and I might do some gaming as well. I'm wondering if this budget is enough for my needs. I have zero experience building PCs, so I'd really appreciate any recommendations or tips you have!
I found a guide here: https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/HcLrxr/excellent-amd-gamingstreaming-build, but I'm open to modifications if you think there's a better way to approach this. Thanks a lot!

If your programming needs benefit from multicore or multithreading, consider investing more in a higher-end CPU and cutting back on the GPU. For gaming, you could spend a bit more on an RX 9070 over the 7800 XT, which isn’t the best price/performance at around $550.

Thanks for your input! Yeah I’m definitely leaning towards investing more in the CPU than the GPU. How’s your setup looking? Are you satisfied with it?
