I'm looking to upgrade my PC soon since Windows 10 support is ending. I'm not sure which CPU and GPU combo to get. I mainly play indie games, emulate older titles, and occasionally dive into AAA games. I also create videos, so I'm aware that Windows 11 might be more demanding. I've seen some cool motherboard combo deals at Microcenter with either the Ryzen 7800X3D or the 9800X3D. For the GPU, I'm considering the Radeon 9600XT 16GB variant or maybe a newer Nvidia card. I might also switch to Linux if Windows 11 becomes too frustrating, so any advice would be appreciated. Price isn't the biggest issue, but I'm not looking to spend over $1,000 on a GPU!

Have you thought about your budget? That could really help narrow down your options. But it seems like you're looking to spend between $300 and $700 for the CPU combo and possibly $400+ for the GPU, right? Microcenter usually has great deals, so that’s a good way to go!
Yeah, the combos at Microcenter are pretty solid. I'm definitely leaning towards getting both the CPU and GPU from there.
