Help Me Choose a GPU and Monitor for My First PC!

Hey everyone! I just bought my first PC from a friend for $550, and he mentioned that I only need to upgrade the GPU. I'm feeling a bit lost, so I'm hoping you all can lend a hand. Here are my specs:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
- Motherboard: ASUS TUF gaming x570-PRO
- RAM: 32 GB
- Storage: 1 TB SSD (Samsung 970 EVO plus)
- Power Supply: 850 watts
- Case: full tower NZXT H510

I'm looking for a GPU that can handle livestreaming VR videos, playing GTA6 when it's out, manipulating Rust, editing videos on DaVinci Resolve, and experimenting with AI. I don't want to break the bank and prefer not to upgrade any other components. Also, I'll need a monitor that matches well.

I'm still pretty new to this and have only been learning about GPUs for the past week. Can anyone recommend a GPU and a monitor that fits my needs? Ideally, I'd like to keep my GPU budget under $600, but I'd prefer something closer to $400 if possible. Thanks for your help!!!

First off, congrats on your first PC! Given your requirements, I’d recommend the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060. It handles gaming and streaming quite well, plus it’s future-proof for upcoming titles like GTA6. It usually hovers around the $400-$500 range, which fits into your budget. As for a monitor, a 144Hz 1080p display would be a good match for gaming. Something like the ASUS VG245H is solid for the price!

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ve also heard that the RX 6700 XT could be a good alternative. It’s a bit pricier but has great performance for what you want to do. Just thought I’d throw it out there!
