I'm trying to decide between an Intel or AMD CPU for my needs. I primarily use my computer for browser tasks, Canva, Roblox, Spotify, and Discord. I'm debating whether to go for an Intel i5 from the 12th or 13th generation (non-F version) with an H610 motherboard since I can't afford a more expensive motherboard, or an AMD Ryzen 5600X, 5500, or 5600 with a B450 motherboard. The Intel 13400 is the priciest option, while the Ryzen 5500 is the cheapest. Any advice would be appreciated!

Honestly, either choice will handle the tasks you mentioned quite well! Even a Ryzen 5500 should be sufficient for basic browsing and casual use. Just make sure your motherboard is compatible with the CPU you choose.
Totally agree! A Chromebook could manage those tasks, but if you're concerned about performance in video editing on Canva, I’d suggest the Ryzen 5600X for slightly better multi-core performance. Will provide a smoother experience overall.
