Help Me Choose Between the 5070 Ti and 9070 XT!

Hey everyone, I'm having a tough time picking out a GPU for my setup. I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed by the variety of models and their price differences. I've heard some models can have cooling issues too, so I really want to make an informed choice.

Here's some context: my CPU is an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and I'm thinking of using a Lian Li LanCool 217 case. I know there's an AMD graphics card quite similar to the 5070 Ti, but I have to admit I'm more of a Nvidia fanboy. I'm just unsure if I should make the switch unless someone can help convince me otherwise.

I've gathered some prices in ZAR for the 9070 XT, 5070 Ti, and 5080 from a few retailers. If anyone has insights on which one to go for, especially regarding performance and reliability, I'd appreciate it!

Just get whichever is the cheapest and fits your PC well. They’re all reputable brands. One more thing: the 5000 series has had some driver issues reported, so that's something to think about. But really, you can't go wrong with either; they both rock!

I moved from a Zotac 1080 Ti to an MSI 5070 Ti, and honestly, the upgrade was worth every penny. Games look stunning at max settings. If you're all about gaming, the 9070 XT is still a good pick, but the 5070 Ti has that Nvidia advantage if you want versatility.

I’d say grab the 5070 Ti if you can swing it. The 9070 XT is slightly slower but also generally cheaper. If you're leaning towards Nvidia for specific features, go for it! Just choose the cheapest model you find; they’ll perform similarly!

Performance differences are minimal, so you should consider these factors: 1) cooling capabilities, 2) reliability, and 3) size to fit in your case. Also, check prices; you might find a cheaper model that’s just as good. Lastly, think about warranty and customer service for the manufacturer.

If I were you, I'd go for the Gigabyte Gaming OC 5070 Ti. It’s got solid performance. Just keep in mind that I've seen reports of cooling issues with some models, so make sure you're aware of that before you decide!

I heard about those too. Some users say even the latest models are leaking, so be cautious if you choose that brand!
