I'm working on my first gaming PC build and I'm a bit unsure about some of the components. My budget is $2000 AUD, but with the current prices, especially for RAM, it's been tough to put everything together. I'm currently waiting for some 1TB SSDs to come back in stock as I can't find any under $120 AUD. I've picked out a few potential GPUs, but I'm having a hard time deciding between them. Here's what I have so far:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X - $339
- CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE - $59
- Motherboard: ASRock B650M PG Lightning WiFi - $150
- Storage: Crucial P3 Plus 1TB SSD - $119
- GPUs:
1. ASUS Radeon RX 7600 - $400
2. Asus ProArt GeForce RTX 4060 - $490
3. MSI GeForce RTX 5060 - $510
- Case: NZXT H3 Flow - $90
- Case Fans: Arctic F12 5 Pack - $15
- PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower GT 750W - $120
- RAM: Crucial Pro 32GB DDR5 - $600
- OS: Windows 11 Home - $30
Total cost with the GPUs ranges from $1907 to $2017. Any advice on how to optimize this build would be greatly appreciated!

With prices being what they are, I suggest saving on the CPU cooler and possibly going for a decent non-modular PSU if you can find one at a good price. For RAM, look for deals on slightly slower kits; it won't make a huge difference for gaming. Check out the 9070 GPU options I've listed; you might find one within your budget that offers great performance.
Are you building just for gaming, or will you use it for other tasks too? If gaming is your main focus, you might want to prioritize a better GPU. Some of those options are solid, especially the RTX 4060, but make sure it fits your needs! Also, consider if you're looking for future-proofing with ray tracing capabilities.
Yes, this is primarily for gaming.

I noticed that the RAM deal requires an educational email. Not sure if I can get access.
