Hey everyone! I've been considering building a gaming PC during this RAM crisis, and while I think I've picked decent parts, I'm worried it might be a bit too expensive. I don't have much experience with building PCs, but I have some knowledge about hardware. This setup is aimed primarily at 1440p gaming—I'm talking about heavy story games and a lot of multiplayer action. I'd really appreciate any feedback, including suggestions on how to cut costs or personal preferences that might improve my build. Here's what I've selected so far:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- **GPU:** ASUS RTX 5070 Prime 12GB
- **Motherboard:** MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI
- **Memory:** Kingston DDR5 FURY Beast 2x16GB 6000MHz CL30
- **Storage:** Samsung 990 PRO 1TBx2
- **PSU:** MSI MAG A750GL
- **Cooling:** Noctua NH-D15
- **Case:** NZXT H5 Flow RGB 2024
Would love to hear what you think about the build and any potential tweaks I could make! Thank you!

Your build looks pretty good overall! Just a tip: you probably don’t need CL30 RAM for that setup. You can find cheaper RAM, even at 5600 MHz speeds, which should work just fine. The 5070 graphics card is a solid choice, but if you’re going all out, the 5070 Ti would be even more future-proof in terms of VRAM. Still, the 5070 will definitely handle your needs well.

Is there a significant difference between higher and lower speeds or CL timings for RAM? Personally, I think the 5070 fits my usage perfectly, and I wouldn’t want to upgrade unless it’s necessary.
