I'm looking to put together a decent gaming PC build with a budget of around $1000. I found a setup on PCPartPicker that came to about $1241, which I can accept but would prefer to stay closer to my budget. I've built a few PCs before, but I'm not up to date with the latest components and options. I'm also hoping for a case that looks cool for the kids. Any thoughts on this build, or recommendations for upgrades or downgrades? Thanks!

If you're looking to save some cash, I suggest switching the GPU for the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB (not the 8GB model). Here's a rough build I recommend:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 9600X
- **CPU Cooler:** Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB
- **Motherboard:** MSI PRO B650M-P Micro ATX AM5
- **Memory:** Silicon Power Value Gaming 32 GB DDR5 6000
- **Storage:** KingSpec XF 1 TB NVME SSD
- **Video Card:** PNY OC GeForce RTX 5070
- **Case:** Cooler Master Elite 301 MicroATX
- **Power Supply:** Montech CENTURY II 850 W 80+ Gold
Total comes around $1202, which is pretty close!
You might want to consider swapping the GPU to a Radeon RX 9070, and maybe add a 2TB NVMe for better storage. That could really help keep your build well-rounded without breaking the bank!
Level up with this gaming rig!
Thanks for the list! Do you have any recommendations on which manufacturer for the Radeon 9060? I see a lot of options and I'm not sure which ones are reputable.
