Hey everyone! I'm a 13-year-old boy and I've been trying to learn programming since I was 10, but I haven't really made any progress. I've dabbled a bit in Python and even made some simple projects like a calculator and a word counter, but organizing my learning is tough. I often start one thing, don't finish it, and then move on to something else the next day. I'm looking for advice on how to get started and stay on track, including good resources or tips on how to manage my learning time. I really want to start working at 16 to save up some money for my future. Any help would be appreciated!

Make sure you keep it fun! Starting with something you're interested in can help. Maybe consider making something related to gaming since you mentioned it. Even creating a Minecraft mod could be a cool project! Whatever you choose, just remember to keep challenging yourself but also take breaks when you need to.
A great way to start is by checking out Scratch. It's super fun and lets you learn programming concepts without feeling overwhelmed. Besides, setting simple goals for yourself can help keep things interesting. I remember the first code I wrote was a batch script to help my grandfather back up his emails. It started simple but I learned a ton refining it over time. So don’t be afraid to start small and then build on that!
Sounds cool! I might try to do something like that too.

Yikes, modding seems hard! Is there an easier way to start?
