I'm working on my first PC build primarily for gaming, sound design, art, video editing, and general use. My goal is to run some low-end Steam games at around 60-70 frames per second. I've set my budget to roughly $1,000, excluding peripherals like my keyboard and microphone. I've put together a parts list, but I'd love to get some input on how I could improve it. Here's what I've come up with: [PCPartPicker Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MrDZv4). Any suggestions on upgrades, or is there something I should be focusing on?

I've been in your shoes before! If you could save a bit more, that might be a good call, especially since most lower-end builds end up costing more in the long run due to constant upgrades. You're looking at spending around $1,000 on parts that are already a bit outdated, which isn't ideal. I'm working on a new parts list for you that I think might work better!
I really want to keep my budget to at least $1k for components, especially since I plan on setting up a recording space with a mic. Maybe I could skip the camera this time?
