I've been considering making the switch to Linux because I'm tired of how resource-heavy Windows is. I'm really stuck on which distribution to choose—should I go with Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Fedora, or Debian? I genuinely need some advice on which Linux distro would suit me best. Any suggestions?

I just started with Linux Mint a week ago, but I ran into issues with my ASUS laptop's RGB keyboard cycling. After three hours of trying to fix it, I switched to Kubuntu, and it resolved the issue right away. A lot of people recommend Linux Mint or Ubuntu for beginners, though!
I opted for Zorin OS, and I’m loving it! It’s user-friendly and visually appealing.
I've heard Zorin is a bit outdated at this point.
I personally have only used Arch, but I've heard Mint is great for beginners. It really depends on your usage; if you want something like Windows, Mint is a solid choice. If you're okay with deep dives into system upkeep, Arch might be for you.
I switched to Mint about a year ago and have zero regrets. The community support is great, and it feels refreshing to customize my OS again after Windows. Recently, I tried Bazzite for better hardware support, but I'll probably revert back to Mint after the kernel update!
Well, that's changed a lot recently. Mint and Kubuntu can be outdated now, with better modern alternatives out there. Distros like Bazzite and Aurora are much more stable and have strong hardware support. They're also immutable, so they're less likely to break!
