I'm a total newbie to building PCs and would love your feedback on my planned setup. You can check out the parts list [here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tdwkmC). I'm planning to build this rig for gaming and programming (including virtual machines and mobile phone emulators). While I don't need to run games at max settings with ultra-high FPS, I'm hoping for decent graphics and steady performance in modern and upcoming games for under $1600. I'm really excited to get this all set up, especially since I'm looking forward to playing the Oblivion remaster!
I have a couple of concerns: First, I've noticed a warning regarding RAM clearance with certain CPU coolers—how can I verify if my parts will fit together properly? Also, I see that the Corsair case comes with 2 fans; is that sufficient? I already have my peripherals and a monitor, which is 4K. Are there any potential compatibility issues I should watch out for? Thank you!

Sounds like a solid plan! You'll get decent performance with that budget, and you should be able to play most newer games at medium to high settings without a hitch. Just double-check that your power supply has enough wattage for your components.
Another thing, make sure your monitor resolution is matched well with your GPU for the best experience; sometimes 4K can tax the setup quite a bit, depending on the graphics card you choose. Rock on with that build!
Hey there! Your build looks pretty good overall. If you're planning on doing a lot of programming and gaming, make sure your CPU has enough cores; it can really help with multitasking and running virtual machines. As for RAM clearance, look up your cooler model online and check if there are any compatibility issues specifically regarding the RAM height—this info is often available on the manufacturer's site or forums.
For the fans, 2 fans might be enough for general use, but if you plan on heavy gaming sessions, consider adding one or two more for better airflow especially in warmer climates. As long as your GPU is good enough, you shouldn't have issues hitting decent FPS in games, just don't expect to max everything out!
Good shout on checking the cooler specs! It's really the best way to ensure your RAM and cooler won't clash. Adding a couple more fans is a smart move too, especially if you’re working with demanding applications.
Great point about the power supply! It’s crucial for stability, especially if you’re planning on future upgrades.
