I'm having trouble getting a 600W power cable to connect to my PNY 5070 Ti GPU. No matter how hard I try, it just won't fit and the yellow part of the cable is still visible. I've used all my strength trying to push it in, but it seems stuck. I've included some photos to show you the connector and what I'm dealing with. Any advice?

It might help to post a picture of exactly where the cable stops connecting. From what I know, some of the yellow should show, which is a design feature to indicate proper seating. There’s usually a clip that snaps in place, so be sure to check that too!
If you're really having to force it, I'd recommend checking for damage first. Wiggle the cable a little as you try inserting it; it should go in with some resistance, but not excessive force.
It sounds like the connector might be a one-way type. Make sure you’re lined up correctly—sometimes PSU and GPU connectors can look similar but they may not actually fit.
Have you checked if that cable is meant for your GPU? Sometimes there’s a reason that certain cables don’t fit in certain ports. It could be the wrong cable or the wrong spot altogether.
Make sure to inspect both the card and the connector for any damage. If they look good and nothing seems off, consider trying a new cable. It might be worth taking it to a shop if you're still having issues.
