I ran into a serious issue with my Android device. About 14 hours ago, my apps started crashing, so I decided to format my device and flash a custom ROM. However, during the process, I encountered problems. Specifically, while adding the ROM, my terminal closed unexpectedly and the connection between my Android phone and laptop was lost. Now, my phone is stuck and I'm not sure what to do. Here's a link to the YouTube video I was following for reference. I'm really struggling and need some guidance on how to get my phone working again!

Formatting will wipe the data, but if your device is not starting, you might need to reflash the stock ROM using the correct flash tool. I had a similar experience and had to go through the process again. Try to find the official firmware for your model and follow the instructions carefully. It’s a pain, but it might work!

Thanks for the tips! I’ll search for the official firmware and give it another shot.

It sounds like your phone might be bricked if it's just stuck booting. Since you're able to access recovery mode and fast boot, that's a good sign! You could try using a different flashing tool like the SP Flash Tool again, ensuring it's the correct one for your Infinix Smart 7. Make sure to check that your phone drivers are properly installed on your PC too. Also, since you mentioned debugging is on but unauthorized, try connecting it directly to the original USB port to configure it again. Hang in there!

Just remember to triple-check that you're using the correct firmware version for your device! Sometimes the wrong version can cause issues.
