I've got an Asus Zenbook 13 running Windows 11, and it was working perfectly fine until yesterday. Now I can't connect to any WiFi networks at all. This includes connections at my university, home, and even my personal access point. My laptop shows that it's connected, but there's no internet access. Other devices, like my phone, can connect just fine. I've tried things like flushing the DNS and other common fixes, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas? Thanks! Just to clarify, my Windows troubleshooter says there's no internet connection, just the local network. I think it's not an IP or DNS problem. I figured out the issue was with ProtonVPN messing things up.

Also, make sure that you’re not accidentally filtering your WiFi, like through MAC filtering in your router settings. And since you mentioned ProtonVPN, it might be worth completely uninstalling it and testing your connection without it. That software can sometimes mess with network settings.
Just a thought, but relying on your phone's connection might not be enough. Sometimes the phone can connect without actually using that network for internet access. Try enabling Mobile Hotspot on your phone and connecting your laptop to it. If that works, then it's probably an issue with your router. If not, it’s likely a problem with your laptop.
It sounds like there could be a software issue at play here. Do you have any security software or VPNs running? Check what type of network Windows is showing you—if it's a public or private network. Sometimes that can affect connectivity too.
