Help! My Bluetooth Has Vanished – What Should I Do?

I've run into a frustrating issue: my Bluetooth has completely disappeared out of nowhere. I can't find it anywhere, not in the start menu, device manager, or anything. I've tried updating my BIOS, clearing the CMOS, doing a fresh install of Windows, and even powering down the system completely to drain it. Despite all these attempts, I still have no Bluetooth functionality. Could it be a hardware issue? What other steps should I take? I'm using an Asus Tuf B850E Wifi motherboard. Thanks for your help!

If it were me, I'd recommend creating a Linux USB stick with a distro like Ubuntu or Fedora. Booting from it can help determine whether your Bluetooth hardware is actually functional. If Linux detects Bluetooth, then your Windows setup might need troubleshooting. If it doesn’t, there’s a chance your motherboard might be defective.

First, make sure that Bluetooth is enabled in your BIOS settings. Sometimes it might get turned off inadvertently. It's worth checking again just to be sure!

Yes! I even tried toggling it off and on in the BIOS just in case. Still nothing.

I second the Linux live boot suggestion. If you don't see Bluetooth there either, it's likely a hardware issue with your motherboard.

I just installed Zorin, and unfortunately, no Bluetooth was found.
