Is the RX 570 a Good GPU for Study and Casual Gaming?

I'm currently using an i7 4770 in my PC and I'm considering upgrading my graphics card. I found an RX 570 ROG Strix for $60. Is that a good deal? I'm mainly going to use it for studying and a bit of gaming, but I'm also thinking about whether I should hold out for something better. I was also considering the RX 580, but I'm not sure if it's worth the extra cost.

The RX 570 works well with an i7 4770. I've had a similar setup, and it performed nicely. It won't max out the newest games, but it can handle most titles at decent settings. Just keep in mind it's not necessary for studying; an integrated GPU will do the job there.

I appreciate the feedback! It sounds like it could be a good fit for casual gaming, which is what I need.

The RX 570 has 4GB of VRAM, so it's decent for casual gaming. Honestly, for studying and office tasks, you’d probably be fine with just integrated graphics. If you’re gaming, though, the RX 570 is better than nothing, but if you can find a cheap RTX 3060, that'd be even better!

If $60 for the RX 570 is a solid deal, especially if you're on a budget! In my area, the prices for new GPUs are climbing, and the RTX 3060 can go for around $300 used, which is quite a stretch. I think the RX 570 would give you good value for your needs right now.
