Hey everyone! My brother is looking to build his own computer and I've been helping him out. He's on a budget, and I'd love your thoughts on his current parts list which you can check out [here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zRqXrM). He mainly needs it for running ArcMap and doing some 1080p gaming. Any critiques or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Consider upgrading the GPU since the one mentioned might not have enough VRAM for future games. A Radeon RX 9060XT with 16GB would be a fantastic choice for around $1200. Also, a slightly faster RAM like CL30 at 6000MHz would really help out. The rest of the build looks pretty cool, though!
If gaming is the main goal, I suggest opting for a more powerful setup that's still budget-friendly. Check out my recommended part list [here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bXN73w). It has a solid AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, which is great for gaming, plenty of RAM, and a decent graphics card. It’ll definitely deliver better performance while staying within a reasonable price range! Let me know what you think!
The build is slightly above the original budget, by about $40, but it's a solid overall upgrade. My parts suggestions include the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X and a Radeon RX 9070, which are both better suited for gaming and will give you more VRAM. Check out my list [here](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Pff4fd) for details!
The RX 9070 is 65% faster than the 5060 and has way more VRAM, which would definitely improve gaming performance.

That’s a nice build! But maybe try getting a B650 motherboard instead, and use that saving for a better CPU!
