Hey everyone! I'm just starting out with building my own PC and I've put together a list of components I want to use. Here's what I have:

- **CPU:** Intel I9 14900KF 24-core
- **GPU:** ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 24GB
- **Motherboard:** ASUS Z790-AYW WIFI W II Intel Z790 (LGA 1700) ATX
- **PSU:** MSI - MAG A1250GL Fully Modular
- **Cooler:** KRAKEN ELITE RGB 360 - White edition
- **RAM:** Team T-CREATE EXPERT 64GB (4x16GB) DDR5
- **Storage:** Crucial T700 GEN5 4TB M.2 2280 PCIE 5.0 X4 SSD, plus two Corsair MP700 Elite M.2 2280 2TB SSDs
- **Case:** ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Edition

I'm looking to keep my budget around $6,000-$6,500 and really want to ensure that all these components work well together. Since I'm brand new to this, I'd love any tips or critiques you have. I appreciate constructive feedback, not just criticism of my limited knowledge. Thanks in advance!

Also, I'm considering switching from 4x16GB RAM to 2x32GB. What do you all think about that?

I've seen some users suggest opting for AMD instead of Intel, especially with the i9 having some reported issues. If your primary purpose isn't heavy multi-threading tasks like editing, you might not need that many cores. Just a thought!

I appreciate your input! I’m just curious, how do AMD CPUs stack up for gaming compared to Intel?

You’ve invested quite a bit, but are you sure about the GPU choice? Some believe you could get better performance for less with a different model. The RTX 4090 is great, but there are debates about whether it's the top choice. What do you think?

I picked the 4090 for its performance and specs, but I’m open to suggestions. What would you recommend?

Here’s an alternative build I made that’s $2,000 cheaper and still great: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DpPWqH. I kept your white theme but suggest some upgrades that could improve performance without breaking the bank.

Wow, thanks for this! I really appreciate the advice. Just one question: how does the performance of the new GPU you suggested compare to the 4090?
