Help! My C Drive Is Full on Windows 10—What Can I Do?

I'm struggling with my laptop running Windows 10 because my C drive is completely full. I've tried checking the C:WindowsTemp folder, but I can't even open it without getting a memory error. I've also attempted to uninstall some applications to free up space, but I keep getting errors 2503 and 2502 during the process. Does anyone have tips on how to get my laptop functioning properly again?

Are you storing a lot of files like pictures, videos, or downloads in your User folder? These typically fill up your C drive. If that's the case, you can move your User folders to your D drive to free up some space.

I checked, and even after moving some files from the C drive to the D drive, it didn't seem to make much difference.

Have you tried using tools like WinDirStat or WizTree to find out where all your space is being used? They can give you a visual representation of your disk usage, which is really helpful. Also, make sure to run Disk Cleanup and select 'System Files' for a thorough clean-up. That should help a bit!

I've done that a few times, but I don’t even have enough space to download WizTree again. Right now, my D drive is the only one with space!

You can try deleting all files and folders in these directories:

- C:UsersAppDataLocalTemp
- C:WindowsTemp

Afterward, run Disk Cleanup. If you keep having issues uninstalling apps, consider booting into 'Clean Boot' mode to try again. Here's more info on that: [Microsoft Clean Boot Guide](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135)

I did the 'Clean Boot,' but I still can't uninstall the apps I need. The same errors (2503 and 2502) keep popping up!
