Help! My Cloning Attempt from a Dying HDD to a New SSD Failed – What Should I Do?

Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a jam here. I'm trying to clone my dying HDD (which has Windows 11 on it) to a new SSD I just installed. I know I can't just copy and paste, so I went with Macrium Reflect to clone it. But halfway through, I got an Error 9 message and found out that my HDD has some bad sectors. Now my SSD has a partial clone and a random Windows (E:) partition that's messing everything up on boot. I'm worried about bricking my PC and really need some guidance on how to safely transfer my data before my HDD completely fails. Help would be greatly appreciated!

If you can, I'd recommend doing a fresh install of Windows on the SSD. It's sometimes easier than trying to fix a broken clone. Once you've got Windows set up on the SSD, then connect your HDD and pull off the files you need. Just make sure to back up important data first!

So just to clarify, should I delete everything on the SSD first before reinstalling Windows? And after the fresh install, I should be able to just drag and drop my files from the HDD?
