A few months ago, I used DiskGenius to migrate my hard drive to a new SSD, including Windows. Recently, I tried changing the SSD from MBR to GPT using DiskGenius by selecting "Convert to GUID Partition Table." It worked, but after rebooting, my computer now boots from my old HDD instead of my SSD. The Disk Management shows the boot drive as the HDD, labeled as C drive, while my SSD isn't being recognized as the boot drive anymore. I really want to get my SSD back as the primary boot drive with all my current data intact. I also attempted to boot directly from the SSD through the BIOS, but it still defaults to the HDD. What options do I have to fix this?

You're not alone in this! A lot of us have run into similar issues. I’d recommend trying to revert your SSD back to MBR in DiskGenius again, as that might help Windows recognize it correctly. If that doesn’t work, you could also try booting your SSD in a different PC or using a USB drive to back up your important files first. Once that's done, formatting the SSD and performing a fresh Windows install could be the way to go. Just double-check your UEFI and Secure Boot settings before reinstalling!
Haha, I feel you on the hassle! Just out of curiosity, did reverting back to MBR work for you? If you're still stuck, maybe we can troubleshoot together!
