After experiencing a crash while gaming, my computer ended up boot looping and eventually led me to the advanced recovery options. I decided to reset Windows, which redownloaded the OS on the same boot device. However, once I got into Windows, I noticed that while my Ethernet connection shows as connected, I can't access any websites. Additionally, the WiFi option is missing entirely. I checked Device Manager and attempted to update the WiFi driver, but in the middle of the update, my computer shut down and restarted on its own. I also tried to boot into safe mode, but it didn't load. I suspect the reset may have caused issues with my network drivers. I haven't updated the BIOS yet either. Can anyone provide some guidance?

It sounds like reinstallation might be necessary for proper performance. Your current setup might lead to crashes when launching resource-heavy applications.
What version of Windows are you running? It might be some driver issues causing the trouble here.
I'm using Windows 11.
Your network drivers might not have reinstalled correctly during the reset. Double-check Device Manager for any problems there. If you can’t get it sorted, consider a full OS reinstall to get a clean slate.
Check your Device Manager for driver issues or missing components. It’s possible the reset messed things up with your network drivers, and reinstalling the OS could help restore everything properly.

I will definitely give that a shot!
