Help! My Computer Isn’t Recognizing All of My RAM

I've got 64GB of RAM made up of four 16GB sticks (Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4) installed in my Asus ROG Maximus XI Hero motherboard. However, the Task Manager is showing only 32GB as being recognized, even though all four slots are filled. I've tried enabling both XMP profiles in the BIOS but I'm still facing this issue. Any advice on how to troubleshoot this?

It sounds like there might be a few things to check. First, make sure your motherboard’s BIOS is up to date. After that, go into the BIOS settings and verify if all four RAM sticks are detected. If they are, a good next step is to test each stick individually. Just boot with one stick at a time and see if it's recognized. This helps pinpoint if there's a faulty stick or slot. Also, double-check that you're using the proper slots—usually, it's A2, B2, A1, B1, but refer to your manual for specifics. Keep us updated on what you find!

If you see all sticks in Task Manager, it's likely a configuration issue. Ensure that you're using the right slots, typically A2 and B2 first. If you're still stuck, try removing all RAM except one and booting to see if it detects correctly. You can also switch the slots around to rule out any bad slots. Don't forget to keep your system BIOS updated, as that can sometimes help with RAM detection issues!
