I'm having an issue with my Windows 11 setup where it keeps booting from my SATA SSD instead of my M.2 SSD, even though I've set the M.2 as my default boot drive in multiple places: command prompt DiskPart, Disk Management, and the BIOS. It's frustrating because I can't figure out why it keeps switching back. Any ideas or suggestions on how to resolve this?

It sounds like your BIOS is having a hard time recognizing your M.2 drive quickly enough, so it defaults back to the SATA drive. Try adjusting the boot order so that the M.2 drive is first and see if removing the SATA SSD from the boot list completely helps. Just make sure you've backed up your data first!
You might want to check the boot tab in msconfig. If there are multiple OS installations, you can directly select the default boot option from there. It might help clarify which drive is being prioritized when starting up.
To clarify, your goal is to have the 2TB M.2 SSD as your main Local Disk (C:) and use the 500GB SATA SSD for additional storage (D:), right? If that's the case, ensure that the M.2 is correctly partitioned and formatted. Sometimes a simple disconnect and reconnect of the drives can also help.
