Hi everyone! I'm experiencing some frustrating issues with my PC and I'm really hoping to get some advice. For the past couple of months, my computer has been crashing multiple times a day while I'm playing games. Sometimes the screen freezes or goes black, and other times the sound keeps going before it shuts down and restarts on its own. There are no error messages or warnings when this happens. I've checked the Event Viewer and found a lot of different Errors and Warnings, but they seem unrelated to the actual problem. I've had this desktop computer for about two years, built at home, and it's running on Windows 11. This all started about two months ago. I've tried scanning for viruses, uninstalling apps, changing system settings, and reinstalling drivers, but nothing seems to work. If anyone has suggestions or insights into what might be causing these crashes, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

I noticed you mentioned checking for viruses, but make sure you’re using a reliable antivirus program. Sometimes malware can cause unexpected shutdowns. Running a thorough scan with something robust could be worth a shot.
If you’re seeing a lot of different errors, they might just be symptoms rather than the cause. Maybe try a clean installation of Windows? It could resolve underlying issues if nothing else works.
It could be related to your graphics card or drivers, especially since you’re experiencing crashes while gaming. Have you tried updating your graphics drivers or testing with a different graphics card if you have one available? It might help narrow down the issue.
It sounds like a frustrating issue! I recommend checking the system logs through Event Viewer to see if there are any clues about the crashes. Focus on the most recent logs in the System section; they might help identify the root cause. Good luck!
Another thing to consider is that overheating can cause crashes. Make sure your PC is well-ventilated, and check if the fans are working properly. Dust buildup can also lead to overheating, so cleaning the inside of your PC can help.

Thanks! I’m already looking at the logs, and I’ll share screenshots of the errors soon because they’re not making much sense to me.
