I'm having an issue with my computer waking up from sleep mode at random times, and I'm struggling to identify the source of the problem. I used the command `powercfg /lastwake`, but it always shows my mouse as the last wake source, which isn't surprising since I tend to move it. In the Event Viewer under Power-Troubleshooter, I've noticed several different wake sources that could be causing the issue, including:
- AMD USB 3.10 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.20 (Microsoft)
- USB Composite Device
- Unknown
I've looked through the Device Manager and checked the Power Management tab for all USB devices, but the option to 'Allow this device to wake the computer' is greyed out. The power-saving option is available and checked for these devices. Additionally, I have three unknown devices, and I've tried reinstalling the AMD chipset driver without any luck. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

Hey, just out of curiosity, do you have a cat or any pets? Sometimes they can accidentally step on keyboards or mice and trigger wake events!
You might try running the command `powercfg -devicequery wake_armed` to see which devices are allowed to wake your computer. Run Device Manager as an admin (Windows Key + R, type devmgmt.msc, then Ctrl + Shift + Enter). After that, look for your mouse or keyboard in the list. If the option to adjust the wake settings isn't greyed out, you can uncheck 'allow this device to wake this computer.' This way, you can see if the issue persists after disabling devices one by one.
Could it be your mouse that's causing the problem? I had a similar issue, and my wireless mouse would wake my PC just from vibrations in my house. You could try turning it off or, if it's wired, putting it upside down when you're done with it.
