Hey everyone, I need some assistance! I've been using an i7-4770K for quite a while, and it's been running smoothly until just last week. I powered on my PC and noticed lagging, only to discover my CPU temperature was over 80°C while idle. I've tried changing the thermal paste, reseating the thermal block, and swapping the pump pins, but nothing seems to help. I'm also hearing some gurgling from the pump, and I can feel the fluid moving through one tube, but nothing's happening in the other. Could this be a sign of water bubbles or a blockage in the pump? If so, what steps can I take to fix this? Thanks!

Is your pump the highest point in the loop? Sometimes that can affect coolant flow and bubble accumulation.
That AIO is about three years old, right? It sounds like the pump might be failing or there's a blockage at the cold plate. Unfortunately, AIO coolers usually aren't made to be repaired, so if it's really malfunctioning, you might have to look into getting a replacement.
If you're hearing gurgling and only one tube feels active, it's likely that your pump has failed rather than just low coolant levels. You might want to consider replacing it.
You could try taking the cooler off and giving it a little shake. Alternatively, if it's too much of a hassle, a $15 air cooler could do the job just fine.
