I just installed a new CPU cooler, but now when I try to boot my PC, the fans only turn on for a second before everything shuts off. I'm not sure what's going wrong. I'd appreciate any troubleshooting tips! Here's a link to a picture of the setup: https://imgur.com/a/Eu7apw3

First things first, make sure all the CPU power cables are securely connected. If it's the 8-pin (or 4+4) EPS connector, it needs to be fully plugged into the motherboard. Next, check if your CPU is properly seated—if you removed it while installing the cooler, it could have gotten a bit loose or you might have bent some pins. Also, be careful about how tightly the cooler is attached. Sometimes if it's too tight, it can cause boot issues. Lastly, clearing the CMOS can help after a hardware change. Just a heads up, if it powers on for a second and shuts down, it could be a power issue or a protective shutdown due to a bad connection or short.
I have a similar issue now. All my fans are running, but the power button keeps flashing and nothing shows on the display. Any ideas?

It was the overtightening! Thanks for the help!
