I'm having a major issue with my Samsung Galaxy A52. I installed a new finance app called financIdent, and during the setup, I had to set a password and also selected fingerprint security. The problem is that the fingerprint was required to unlock my phone after the app installation, but now, three days later, I'm locked out because it demands a password that I never set up. I think the app might have accessed entire phone settings inadvertently. Has anyone experienced this or knows how to unlock my phone without losing any data? I'm really worried about losing everything. Thanks in advance for your help!

It sounds like your app used permissions to access the fingerprint feature, but you likely still had to set a password for the system. Have you attempted to use any potential passwords you might have set during the app setup?
Just a tip—make sure you're using the same finger you set up for the app and try to hold it down for a moment. That might help if the fingerprint temporarily got disabled.
