I'm facing a serious issue with my GIGABYTE G7 KE laptop, which got bricked after the recent Windows 11 update. I've seen others with G5 and G6 models experiencing similar problems, but I'm specifically dealing with the G7 KE. I tried following the repair instructions from an official guide, but when I downloaded the latest BIOS file for my model, it looked different from what was shown in the PDF. I disabled secure boot and attempted to boot from my FAT32 formatted flash drive, but the boot menu doesn't even recognize it. Has anyone else with a G7 KE encountered this issue? I'm stuck as GIGABYTE and Windows support haven't responded, and local repair technicians suggested I might need a new motherboard, which I can't afford as a student. Is there anyone who can help me troubleshoot this? Also, to add some details, my flash drive is formatted with the default allocation size and has folders named EFI, __MACOSX, and BIOS_NHxxPNP(RCxxKE)FB05, with the necessary files inside the last one. Should I move all files to the root directory?

It can be super frustrating trying to recover from a bricked situation like this. If your USB isn’t recognized, double-check the BIOS settings to ensure USB booting is enabled. Sometimes it helps to plug the drive into different USB ports, especially using USB 2.0 instead of 3.0, as compatibility might vary.
You should definitely extract everything from the "nb-bios-g5-g7-ke-ve-win11-64bit-ec-fb06" zip file straight to the root of your USB drive. It sounds like the extra folders were created because of formatting it on a non-Windows device. Give that a try and see if it works!

I attempted that, and my flash drive now looks a bit different, but it still isn't showing up in the boot menu. Any other thoughts?
