I'm in a bit of a bind—my GPU is stuck halfway out of the PCIe slot. I can't seem to push it back down, and the PCI latch won't budge either. I've tried wiggling the GPU while pressing the latch, but no luck. Here's a link to a picture for reference: https://imgur.com/a/kJNfywO. Any advice on how to fix this? Oh, and I eventually got it out, but I'm still curious about what went wrong!

Sounds like a tricky situation! Ideally, you want to take the GPU out completely. Just make sure the latch is open, then gently lift it out while pressing down on the latch. When you put it back, ensure it clicks into place and secure it in with screws to prevent issues later.
Could this be a PCI 2.0 to 3.0 compatibility issue? Maybe the GPU is misaligned with the slot.
No, that's not it. The card is stuck; I can't even remove it!
Did you encounter this while installing or removing the card? If the latch is open, try pushing down gently on the top while pulling up from the bottom to free it. Just don’t be too gentle—sometimes you need to apply a bit of pressure!
I tried that, but it's stuck sideways! It won't fit back in, no matter how I angle it.
