Help! My GPU Isn’t Showing Up on My Motherboard

I've been struggling with my computer build for the last four hours, and I really need some help. My new GPU (a 9070xt) isn't being recognized by my motherboard—it doesn't show up in Device Manager, and I'm pretty sure it's properly installed. I've checked the slots and cables multiple times. I could really use some advice on how to troubleshoot this! My motherboard is a B650M-HDV/M.2 and my CPU is a 9600X. Just to add, I'm currently relying on my integrated graphics since the GPU isn't providing any display.

It sounds like your GPU isn't appearing in Device Manager at all. Just to clarify, it should normally show up under Display Adapters after you install the necessary drivers. Double-check that your monitor cable is plugged into the GPU. If you're using it correctly, head to [AMD's driver support page](https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html) to get the auto-detect driver tool. That might solve the issue for you!

It's not showing up at all in Display Adapters, which is the problem. Right now, I'm just using my integrated graphics.

You might want to try flashing the latest BIOS for your motherboard. I found the link for it [here](https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B650M-HDVM.2/index.asp#BIOS). Also, make sure you've installed the drivers for your GPU. If you're unsure which version of the 9070xt you have, a quick Google search should help you out. Good luck!

One common issue could be forgetting to connect the power cable from your PSU to the GPU. Make sure that it’s plugged in properly—that might be the reason why it's not being recognized.
