I'm having a bit of a crisis with my laptop. I was watching a movie through HDMI on my TV when suddenly the screen went black, and my laptop froze. I had to force it to turn off. After restarting, I tried connecting the HDMI again, but nothing showed up on the screen. It seems like my laptop is running on the integrated graphics instead of my GeForce 3070 Ti. I've already tried updating the GPU drivers, reinstalling them, and even updating Windows, but none of that worked. I noticed that my laptop is now using Microsoft Basic Display adapters, and both the integrated graphics and the 3070 Ti have errors. I'm really at a loss here, especially since this all started after the HDMI issue.

I had a similar problem once. Try going to the device manager, locating your graphics card, and activating it. That might solve the issue!
Did you make sure to connect the HDMI to your GPU and not to the motherboard? If your laptop has both options, that could be the issue!
I only have one HDMI port on my laptop, so it has to be connected there.

I checked that, but they are both activated. There's also this weird icon next to them which is concerning.
