Hey everyone! I've had my PC for over three years now, and I have both an SSD (C: with Windows installed) and a HDD (D:). Recently, my SSD filled up, so I decided to use the HDD for storage, but I discovered that its file system is in RAW. I've tried a bunch of tutorials to fix this issue, including using the command prompt with diskpart, but I keep hitting a wall with the "Device does not exist" error. I've attempted various commands like -format fs=ntfs quick, -clean, and -create partition primary, but nothing seems to work. Windows recognizes that the HDD is connected via SATA, but I can't read or write to it. I'm really hoping there's a solution that doesn't involve tossing the drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you looked at the Disk Management tool to see if the HDD is enabled? You can check by right-clicking on the drive in Disk Management and confirming that it’s online.
You might want to check the drive's health status using CrystalDiskInfo. This tool can help determine if the HDD is going bad, which might explain why you're facing these issues.
If the disk is showing as online with blue bars in Disk Management, that's a good sign! But since it’s RAW, you might need to consider recovery software or using a more specialized tool that can handle RAW drives. Just make sure to back up any important data if you manage to access it!
