I've run into a frustrating issue! My computer is not recognizing my HDD, even though my SSD is working perfectly fine. The HDD is much larger, and I really want to utilize it. I've tried swapping it to a different SATA connector, but no luck. While this isn't stopping my upgrade plans, it's definitely annoying given all the work I've put in. Any advice would be appreciated!

It's good to know the drive shows up in the BIOS, but if it's missing in Windows, that can be confusing. Sometimes you might need to initialize the drive in Disk Management. Check there to see if it appears and if it needs any formatting or initialization to be recognized in Windows.
Check your motherboard's manual to see if any SATA ports are disabled, especially if you're using an M.2 drive. If you're not, it's strange that the drive isn't showing up in BIOS. Possible reasons might include drive failure, a problem with the power or data cables, or an issue with the SATA port on the motherboard. Make sure everything's connected properly!
