Help! My iPad’s Front Camera Won’t Switch on

I've been having some issues with my iPad 10th Gen. A couple of months ago, my front camera just stopped working. When I try to switch to it in the camera app, it shows a black screen. Recently, every time I attempt to switch, the app seems to do the flip animation, but it stays on the back camera. Plus, I get a notification saying something like 'iPad needs to be cooled down for flash to work.' Any advice on how to fix this?

If you don’t have AppleCare, maybe try a local repair shop. They often can diagnose such issues without the high costs of going to Apple. Just make sure they have good reviews!"

Yeah, I might look into that since it's a gift and I need to take care of it!

Have you tried rebooting your iPad? Sometimes that can fix weird glitches like this. Also, check if there's a software update available; it might help with camera issues. If none of that works, it might be worth looking into getting it checked out, especially since the flash message is popping up."

I haven’t tried rebooting it yet, thanks for the tip! I'll also check for updates and see if that helps.
