I'm in a tough spot here. I woke up today, and for some reason, my iPhone won't unlock. I've been inputting the passcode that I know is correct, along with some variations, but nothing is working. I've been using this passcode for over four years, so I definitely didn't forget it. Currently, it says I need to wait 3 hours before trying again, but I've read that the last delay should only be 1 hour, which is super confusing. I also haven't backed up my phone since I got it, so I'm worried about losing everything. I tried connecting it to my PC, but it doesn't seem to be recognized either. Feeling pretty helpless—any advice?

Is there any chance someone else might have access to your phone and could be playing a prank on you by changing the passcode? Just a thought, but I know how these things can go!
It sounds like a frustrating situation! If your phone doesn't show a 'forgot passcode' option at the bottom of the screen, your best bet may be to erase it using a computer. Just keep in mind that this process will delete all data on your device, so it’s a tough lesson about the importance of regular backups!

Sadly, that's not the case. No one else has been messing with my phone.
