Help! My Laptop Keeps Restarting Randomly on Windows 11

I've got an AMD Ryzen 5 7520U Processor with Radeon Graphics, 16 GB of RAM, and I'm using Windows 11 Home Edition (Version 24H2). Since August, my laptop has been randomly restarting during everyday use—like browsing or working—but it seems fine during gaming sessions (like in Guild Wars 2 or Hearts of Iron 4). I've checked the performance stats and it doesn't overheat or max out; it's usually sitting around 10% usage, and RAM usage is similarly low. I've tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps:

1. Running CMD commands like sfc /scannow, checkhealth, and restorehealth.
2. Ensured Windows, the Windows Defender antivirus, BIOS, and drivers are all up to date.
3. Reinstalled Windows using the recovery option without deleting files.
4. Checked the Event Viewer and found warning events 10016, which I tried to fix, but they're still popping up. I don't think they're the cause, though.
5. Verified that everything in Device Manager is current.

My mom uses this laptop for work, and I'm really out of ideas on what to try next. It's weird that the laptop can handle gaming for hours without a restart, but crumbles under regular use. Any ideas?

It sounds like a frustrating issue! Have you tried booting into Safe Mode? Sometimes that can isolate the problem. Also, since you're on version 24H2, it's known for some bugs. If you can, try testing your RAM. Faulty RAM can lead to some weird behaviors like random restarts.

I'll try Safe Mode next. Good call on checking the RAM!
