I'm having a major issue with my laptop keyboard. Out of nowhere, when I press the backspace key, it types * 8, and hitting enter gives me a 3. Pressing space results in a 52 appearing on the screen, and my entire number pad seems to be completely messed up—doing random things. I can't find any solutions online, so I really need some help!

Have you tried plugging in a USB keyboard? That might help determine if the problem is with your built-in keyboard. Also, check your keyboard settings to make sure it's set to your correct language. If it doesn't fix it, you might need to reinstall your keyboard drivers or, as a last resort, consider replacing the keyboard.
It sounds like you may need to replace the entire keyboard assembly. This can happen from liquid damage or just regular wear and tear over time. In the meantime, using an external keyboard and disabling the internal one through device manager would be a good workaround until you can fix it.
