I recently had to reinstall Windows 11 on my laptop, and since then, my touchpad has completely stopped working. I usually rely on a wireless mouse when I'm at my desk, but I often use my laptop in bed or on the couch, so I need the touchpad to function. I've got about two months until college starts, and I really need to get this sorted out. I found out that outdated drivers can be a problem, but I've updated everything and the touchpad still won't work. I'm also having issues with my F5 and F6 keys, which control brightness, and my F8 key (which is supposed to toggle the touchpad). These keys respond when pressed individually, but they don't work when I hold down the FN key. Before the driver update, I noticed that the touchpad toggle option kept switching off automatically, which is odd. I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware issue since it worked fine before I reinstalled Windows. Any help would really be appreciated!

What’s the model number of your laptop? Also, did you check for drivers on the manufacturer’s website instead of just the system update? Sometimes that makes a big difference.
Make sure you’re installing the right drivers for your specific model. Without the model number, it’s tough to assist much further. Double-check that you’re getting the drivers directly from the laptop's official website.
The model number is NY-02. I just updated the drivers through the 'system update' section in settings. Not sure if that was the best approach.
