I'm having a major issue with my laptop – it won't charge and there's no light indicating any power. I've recently taken it apart, and it seems something went wrong because now it just won't turn on with a dead battery. It has an Intel i3 motherboard, and I'm pretty inexperienced with laptop repairs, as I've mostly worked with desktops. I might have made a rookie mistake while disassembling it. Could anyone give me advice on what could be wrong and how to fix it? I've included an image of the insides for reference: https://imgur.com/a/O7qvF4E

Your laptop image is a bit small, so it's hard to see everything clearly. However, it looks like you might have pinched a wire between the fan heatsink and the case. Those metal fins can be sharp, and if they've cut into a wire, that could short something out and prevent the laptop from getting any power. It's worth checking out!
Did you possibly unplug the charging port from the motherboard while you were working on it? That might explain why it’s not charging. Alternatively, it could just be a coincidence that your charger has stopped working too.
