Help! My Laptop’s Wi-Fi Keeps Disappearing and It Has Weird Visual Glitches

Hey everyone, I've been having a really frustrating issue with my Windows 11 laptop lately. About a week ago, it started randomly disconnecting from Wi-Fi, and when that happens, the Wi-Fi option in the settings disappears completely. The RealTek network adapter vanishes as well. Restarting the laptop usually fixes the problem temporarily, but it keeps happening every few minutes. Recently, I've also noticed strange black rectangles appearing behind my desktop icons when I hover over them.

Here's what I've tried so far:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling all network adapters
- Checking for updates for the RealTek adapter
- Resetting the network adapters
- Executing a full factory reset while keeping my personal files

Unfortunately, even after resetting, the issue is still there. I'm worried that maybe I've downloaded a virus that's messing with my network adapter. Does anyone have an idea of what's going on and how I can fix this?

Have you updated your BIOS lately? Sometimes outdated BIOS can cause compatibility issues with your hardware. Updating it might help stabilize your system. If you're not sure how to update it, just look for your laptop model on the manufacturer's website, and it usually walks you through the update process. Good luck!

If you suspect you might have malware on your device, make sure to run a full virus scan. It's a good idea to check your system for any harmful software that could be causing these issues. If you're not sure where to start, consider looking up some malware removal guides or tools.

It sounds like you might be dealing with a deeper hardware issue. Sometimes, if the motherboard is starting to fail, it can lead to these kinds of disappearing acts with Wi-Fi and other problems. Have you been picking it up or carrying it by one corner? That can sometimes put stress on the internal components. Also, the visual glitches might be related to the factory reset causing some internal conflicts. You might want to consider getting it checked out professionally to confirm if it's hardware-related.
