Help! My Linux Install Is Stuck After Booting

Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to Linux and recently installed Lubuntu, but then decided to try Linux Mint where I chose the 'erase disk' option. Unfortunately, after each installation, when I restart my PC, I see the logo and then the screen goes completely black. The LED indicator flashes slowly, making it seem like the computer is on standby. Before I switched to Mint, I verified the ISO image as per the guidelines. I've tried restarting and reinstalling, but I'm still stuck at the same point. Can anyone provide me with some tips or solutions? Thanks!

As a joke, I can confirm - Linux definitely hates you! Just kidding! But during the boot sequence for Mint, hit the escape key to enter debug mode. That should show you where the issue lies with the boot process.

Haha, thanks for the laugh! I'll try that and see if it gives me any leads.

Since you've tried two Debian-based distros, I recommend giving Fedora or OpenSUSE a shot. Just to help troubleshoot better, could you share your hardware specs? That might clarify what’s going wrong with your current setup!
