Help! My Linux Mint Installation Keeps Crashing After Just Two Days

I've been using Linux Mint on my new Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 laptop for only two days, and I'm experiencing constant crashes. To fix the issue, I've already installed all the necessary drivers and updated everything on the system. I also checked for any problems using the autoanalyzer tool. I'm not very knowledgeable about Linux, so I'm hoping to find some help here. My system specs include a kernel version of 6.14.0-37-generic and it's running on an 8-core AMD Ryzen AI 7 processor, with a desktop environment of Cinnamon 6.4.8. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Just a quick note: I noticed you mentioned 'WTG'—that usually refers to Windows To Go, right? And for the autoanalyzer, could you clarify what exactly that tool does? Getting the details right can really help in troubleshooting your issue.

You definitely want to ensure all your hardware is supported. Since your laptop is newer, sometimes a long-term support release like Linux Mint might not have the latest drivers. If crashes persist, you might want to try a rolling release distro that tends to have more up-to-date software, or even dual-boot with a newer version.

If your Linux Mint setup is crashing after just two days, it might be due to incompatibilities with your hardware since the laptop is quite new. Check if you're using the latest version of Linux Mint. As of now, 22.3 has been released, and your installation might still be on 22.2, which can cause issues with newer devices. Also, consider whether you've checked the right logs for errors using tools like `dmesg` or `journalctl` to diagnose the problem better. That might give you clues on what's going wrong.

When you say you updated everything, did that include your system kernel and drivers? Sometimes, older drivers can lead to instability. Also, have you seen any specific error messages or logs indicating what's causing the crashes? It might also help to try a different distribution like Universal Blue, which is known to have better support for newer hardware.
